You can make one by clicking HERE.

Nothing much has been going on lately except for the fact that we let our pet taratula go. (Couldn't keep feeding him.) And that my mother is going to have a baby! Please pray that everything will go well and that the baby will be born healthy.

We're Moving!

Well, it is time for the announcement. We will be moving to Arkansas at the end of May 31st where my grandma, aunt and uncle are. That means I won't be online for a few weeks, maybe even a few months. Sigh. I will be on until May 31st though. It's times like this that makes you wish you had a laptop! Please pray for the trip to go well. And while I'm offline though, be sure and leave a lot of comments, okay! I will miss you all!
P.S. To Sharla and Jocelyn: I have left a comment asking for you address so that we can continue to stay in contact and write to each other. So please get back to me if you wish to write!

2 Thessalonians 1

2 Thessalonians 1
1Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
2Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
4So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
5Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
6Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
7And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
10When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
11Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
12That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Tag

I got tagged by Natalie.
1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages).2. Open the book to page 123.3. Find the fifth sentence.4. Post the next three sentences.5. Tag five people.
The nearest book is one of mine called Howliday Inn.
Georgette let go of the towl and, merrily darting back and forth, nipped at max's ankles. Sure, I thought, she has reason to be happy. With Louise out of the picture, she's got max all to herself now.
Ok, I know that didn't make much since but that was the nearest book and those were the sentences. (Besides, you'd have to read the book to understand anyway.)
I'll tag Sharla, Princessleia12 , My Mom (since she loves reading), Booklover and, hmmm. Is it ok if I don't tag another person? I hope so!

The book of Jonah

Ok, it's my turn to post some Bible verses! Rachel does it all the time and she gave me a website called Biblegateway.com where they already have the verses so all you have to do is copy/paste them! For starters, I'll start with The book of Jonah. I have a four old cousin in Arkansas that can actually repeat the book of Jonah. Word for word. No kidding!! Her mother, (my aunt) read it to her so many times that she can repeat it now. It's amazing but true. Here it goes!
Jonah 1
1Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,
2Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.
3But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.
4But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.
5Then the mariners were afraid, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep.
6So the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him, What meanest thou, O sleeper? arise, call upon thy God, if so be that God will think upon us, that we perish not.
7And they said every one to his fellow, Come, and let us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this evil is upon us. So they cast lots, and the lot fell upon Jonah.
8Then said they unto him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us; What is thine occupation? and whence comest thou? what is thy country? and of what people art thou?
9And he said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land.
10Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him. Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them.
11Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.
12And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.
13Nevertheless the men rowed hard to bring it to the land; but they could not: for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous against them.
14Wherefore they cried unto the LORD, and said, We beseech thee, O LORD, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man's life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O LORD, hast done as it pleased thee.
15So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging.
16Then the men feared the LORD exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the LORD, and made vows.
17Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
